PDF.site Inc. ("PDF.site", "we", "us", or "our") provides online PDF editing, conversion, and document management tools through our website at https://pdf.site (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PDF.site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

3. Account Terms

  • You may use basic features of the Service without creating an account.
  • To access premium features, you must register for an account with a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

  • Use the Service to process documents containing classified or export-controlled information

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the files you upload and the output files generated by the Service. PDF.site does not claim any ownership over your content. However, by using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Payment and Subscription

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • All fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 14 days of your initial purchase, contact our support team at support@pdf.site for a full refund. Refunds requested after the 14-day period are handled on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or security patches. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PDF.SITE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PDF.site and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Delaware.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
